In the Spring of 2010 we went to Sedona, Arizona! I have been there a few times.....I have personally found it to be a powerful, uniquely breathtaking area of the Southwest of the USA! See pictures from my trip in August at the bottom of this page!! Pictures from our retreat will be up soon!
Sedona, Arizona March 27, 2010-April 2, 2010
We spent a beautiful week with Angela and A Jewel in the Lotus Yoga in Sedona, Arizona, one of the most beautiful and serene places our country has to offer.
The Retreat Highlights:
Grace Grove is a 25 acre sanctuary, surrounded by Oak
Creek, with all of these creatures and a wide variety of food: 130 fruit
trees, a large garden and unlimited wild crafted foods. Swimming holes,
ponds, walking trails, river views and spectacular sunsets, all in a
neighborhood setting of organic orchards, vineyards and gardens.
Grace Grove is a desert oasis located 20 minutes
south of Sedona, and is home to an amazing array of wildlife, including 81 species of birds. There are coati
mundis, and Javelina, skinks and horny toads! Many animals are found
only in this part of the world. You need to experience this variety and abundance in order to
appreciate the energy (which is different with every changing season!).
Their vision at Grace Grove is that this setting will help to inspire the communities of the
future, and that your Grace Grove experience will live with you long after
you drive out of their gate. Come work, play and raise the consciousness
level of our planet with us.
Each morning will begin practicing Yoga Asana and meditation with Angela. We then gather for breakfast, and head out on one of the many adventures planned. Some evenings will include a starlight yoga and meditation session led by Angela. You will have some free days if you wish to partake in the amenities the retreat center has to offer, and a few free evenings to spend with yourself!
Whether we are touring the property, hiking Cathedral Rock and Boynton Canyon, or visiting the local galleries and walking the town for shopping, it’s apparent why you would succumb to the beauty and awe of Sedona!
Grace Grove's Vision Statement: To provide a sustainable community environment so that we can "walk the talk" of living, working and playing together in harmony with nature as one.

Sedona, Arizona: Often called “Red Rock Country” Sedona is a four seasons playground for everyone – whether you’re into history and archaeology; arts and culture; power shopping; outdoor sports; or the spiritual and metaphysical, imagine doing all this in a backdrop of some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. Sedona's main attraction is its stunning array of red sandstone formations, the Red Rocks of Sedona. The formations appear to glow in brilliant orange and red when illuminated by the rising or setting sun. The Red Rocks form a breathtaking backdrop for everything from spiritual pursuits to the hundreds of hiking and mountain biking trails.
Indeed, this picturesque city is surrounded by red-rock monoliths named Coffeepot, Cathedral and Thunder Mountain. At the north end of the city is the stunning Oak Creek Canyon, a breathtaking chasm that even today, is wildly wonderful.

I LOVE exploring. Inner and Outer exploring. I could never put to words, on this page, how the “journeys” I have had while traveling and retreating (journeying) have been a great part of shaping “me” and my practice, Of Yoga and Life. I give these Retreats to show You……. Package Included:
