Restorative Yoga Teacher Training

Begins Saturday, March 6, 2027

Restorative Yoga is a practice of deep rest. Students stay in postures for extended periods, supported by blankets, bolsters, and blocks, so the body can open, the energetic body can come into balance, and the nervous system can settle.

The benefits include stress reduction, better sleep, greater flexibility, improved circulation, and support for healing and overall wellbeing. It serves every level of practitioner, from beginners to those with a strong, vigorous practice.

In this training you will learn

  • The history of Restorative Yoga

  • Its benefits for body and mind

  • Restorative postures and variations for individual student needs

  • How to sequence a Restorative class

  • How to cue students into a deeper state of relaxation

  • How to hold space for your students
